TOOLS

Airflow unit converter.

Quickly convert between CFM and m³/h during preliminary HVAC calculations.

ENGINEERING TOOL

Convert airflow units quickly and accurately.

Use this preliminary conversion tool to move between cubic feet per minute (CFM) and cubic metres per hour (m³/h) during HVAC calculations and equipment selection.

Airflow Converter

Enter an airflow value, then select the direction of conversion.

Conversion utility for preliminary HVAC calculations. Final equipment selection, system design and code compliance should be verified by the project engineering team.
TECHNICAL REFERENCE

Simple conversion. Clear engineering reference.

The conversion is based on the standard relationship between cubic feet per minute and cubic metres per hour.

CFM → m³/h
m³/h = CFM × 1.699

Multiply the airflow value in CFM by approximately 1.699 to obtain cubic metres per hour.

m³/h → CFM
CFM = m³/h ÷ 1.699

Divide the airflow value in m³/h by approximately 1.699 to obtain CFM.
